Nic & Liz - what do you think?

Personally I don't think they will be a long term relationship.  TIIC are just trying to justify Jasam to the Liasons fans by having Liz sleeping around too.  It's like if they throw in a little sex and Liz saying that her feelings for Jason has been over for a long time that will justify things.  Really I don't care anymore who Liz or Jason sleeps with....I'm done investing in couples.   If you take Lucky out of the equation, Nic and Liz are hot together but no complications.   With Lucky in the middle it gets messy and soapy and lots of hotness. 
 
<Note to self>   find a different word than hot.....I'm starting to sound like Paris Hilton.
 

I wonder if Lucky will find out about Liz and Nik.  If it's true that Liz confides in Olivia (of all people) will it somehow get back to Lucky.  I hate the way Lucky is constantly being written.  He's too good to be true.  Why can't he see that Liz isn't interested in him the way he is in her. 
Even if Lucky was not in the equation I wouldn't think that Liz and Nik were "hot" together.
There's too much history with them as old friends which for me makes it seem like a brother/sister relationship and not romantic at all.

These 2 have been very good friends for years.I always thought that
there was a small spark there but that IJMO.
I would like to see them take it a little further then just friendship

I really like Nik and Liz and I hope they last for a while.  It is pretty soapy for a woman to have an affair with her ex-husband's brother.  They are pretty steamy too!  I'm glad they are taking it slow.  I'm just surprised that Liz is at Nik's while her son is in the hospital. 

I don't think it would be too hard for Nik to take what he wants seeing how Liz is offering herself up. 
I'm disgusted with both of them.  Liz and Nik are two of my faves BUT I do not want them paired romantically.  Just let it end as quickly as it started.  A ONS and be done with it.

I wanted them to be together before... but now... Can't say the same thing... As a Lnl2 fan... I'm more on the side of: Trying to bring some memories of Lnl2 than the Prince finding his princess... They should just make Rebecca is really Emily, and then he start to love her again, and Liz just try to realise that she loves Lucky. Well... no. I know she loves Lucky. She will always will. But IN love right now? Don't think so. And if in a couple of years they decide to bring back Niz, then I won't care. That could bring some storyline. That Rebecca is really Emily and when she learn Nik is in love with Liz, there would be some revenge or something.

I'm surprised the writers didn't go there sooner.  I, too, also thought they would be better than more than in-laws.  I still have to get used to it (being a big Liason fan) but of course, Jason moved on, why can't she.  It amazes me that on soaps, people can fall in and out of love in a matter of months.
I also agree that it reminds me of Nik and Courtney and I hated that coupling. I have to give it time and see how it goes but I love them both and find LnL2 boring as well as Nik and Rebecca so I hope WITH GOOD WRITING it might be something HOT. So far, the writing IMO is not so great.

I think this story is really great and believable....
I mean, I would rush to nik if I just got the most UNROMANTIC proposal in history....I just wish that Liz couls tell Lucky how she feels instead of stringing him along, but I guess if she did that it wouldnt be a soap!

I don't get the feeling from Liz that she's in love with Nic.   I think she wants to jump his bones.  Nothing wrong with her getting a little princely lovin.  I just saw on TV how you should have sex twice a week to keep you healthly...It improves your immune system somehow....That must be it....Liz is a nurse...She's just trying to keep healthy....

LOL, keeping healthy is a good way to look at it.

Liz says she has "feelings" for Nik. What they are, I'm not sure.  Sexual attraction, something more?

I don't think Liz or Nik know what those feelings are yet.
I'm sure she loves him based on their relationship over the years but is she in love with him yet?
Definitely the physical attraction is there - who knows where that will lead?  I'm hoping somewhere ... love in the afternoon!

In the case of Nikolas, I'm surprised (although I shouldn't be) that he will put his feelings above his brother's. I thought they were closer than that.  I think Nik is in a confusing place right now and so is Liz. Maybe this is why they are turning to each other. I'm interested to see where it goes.

i am liking this story.  i think liz and lucky have been done for awhile.  i think she doesn't want to hurt his feelings so she doesn't say anything.  could she have picked someone else other than his brother?  yes, of course, but afterall this is a soap opera and i want a little action, deception. push/pull sometimes.  that's why i watch.  and i like lucky but for all the people raising so much stink.  i remember liz walking into her own home and catching lucky with maxie.  so it's not like he is a saint or anything.

I've heard that too about having sex twice a week.  I think it's true.
Certainly nothing wrong with "getting a little" and Liz is overdue I just don't see it as being "in love".  They're good friends and after one kiss at Jake's they can't stay away from each other.  Maybe Nik is doing this to make Rebecca jealous.  Maybe.   He's steamed enough to get revenge on her any way he can.  If it turns out that Rebecca is really Emily then I'd be very interested to see how that plays out.

I think this pairing is HOT, HOT, HOT!  The scenes from Monday (lighted candles, bourbon, sexy and smoldering glances) were fantasy material :-)

I do not mine Liz and Nic together.  What I mind is how they are getting there.  Was it really neccessary to drag Lucky through this???  I would have prefered the pairing if the fallout was just Rebecca.  I do not like the way the writing is going. 

But..under different circumstances, and with Lucky's blessing, I think they could be cute together.  Nic is spoiled rotten and Liz has no problem telling him he is.  Emily was too used to the good life to notice just how spoiled Nic is.  Liz, on the other hand, knocks him down a ring or two.  I like that.

ICAM..both Liz and Nik are in confusing places right now.  It's unforunate that Lucky is in the mix though but IMO this only adds  more conflict to this SL which is what soaps are all about.  I'm looking forward to where this SL goes
