Nic & Liz - what do you think?
Although my number one man is Jason, Nik was always a close second and if there is anyone that would be great for him to be paired up with it is Liz. I think they have the friendship, history, etc, and they are a mighty goodlooking couple with chemistry...I don't want Rebecca to be paired up with him, the Emily twin thing is just weird and if Niz is to come out in the open Lucky and Rebecca should def hook up because even though i don't like Rebecca, I rather her be with Lucky than Ethan because I really don't like Ethan (I think his character is pointless and his hair bothers me) As others have said, I do feel bad for Lucky, cuz he seems to get the short end of the stick way too many times.
I don't feel bad for Lucky because he's not been all that faithful to Liz, AND, he's shown that he'd do the same thing to Nikolas if he had the chance.
Still, Liz needs to tell Lucky the truth about how she's feeling and not string him out.
I am so happy to see Liz with someone new. I loved her with JJ's Lucky, loved her with Jason but those seem to have passed. It is nice to see her passionate and someone who is passionate about her at the same time. Yes the Lucky thing makes it a bit weird but they don't seem to have anything really left except the kids and friendship.
I dont want Liz and Nick together, YUCKY,YUCKY,YUCKY! All I can think of is some sort of sick incestuous one night stand! I am not a fan of Jason and Liz either. I wish the writers would find some tortured doctor, that she can help him to get over his issues.(MATT?). The character of Elizabeth will always be a sweet and that is a plague for her, because Sweet is real life , nice but not interesting. Everytime I see the writers put her with anyone but Lucky I know they are trying to make her more interesting, but all it does for me is make me think of her as a whore. That is so stupid, I know, because other "GOOD" characters can sleep around, and it doesnt bother me, but Liz is a single mom who is supposed to have integrity and better command of her emotions. She is supposed to be better than the rest, in my mind, I guess. Audrey was a similar character, but she always stuck true to her heart and didnt get confused, the writers are blowing it with Liz. Audrey was always true to Steve in her heart, unless forced to give up on him because he went with someone else. Liz never is true to anyone in her heart. The relationship with Lucky is totally dysfunctional, the relationship with Nik is incestuous, and the one with Jason is too off the wall-his career choice doesnt mesh with hers or her persona. I am a JaSam fan-they understand each other. Please either have her transfer to another city or find an interesting one true love for her!!!
Nicholas belongs with Rebecca/Emily (whoever she turns out to be!).
It's been a while more and now I'm not liking them so much. As usual Liz is sending mixed messages.
I'd like to see Liz and Matt. It would be cool for Liz and Robin to be sisters in law :)
Personally, I am not buying Liz and Nic as a romantic couple. They have too much history and are too close as friends and family for this to start now. And, I agree with ladynina, Liz is again sending mixed signals. She is a down to earth person and should be more clear about what she wants. I think that fault lies with the writers because they want to leave all doors open for Liz to go any which way they want her to! I think they need to pick a direction that fits the character they've written, and go that way.
I can see Liz with Matt, although I would've like to have seen some little spark between the two of them when he first arrived. I remember when they did some dream sequences (I don't remember whose dreams) and tried out different romantic pairs. They had Carly with Patrick, Robin with Matt, and I believe Liz also dated Patrick. I didn't see any real sparks on my screen and wondered why they didn't try to match Liz with Matt.
I would have even bought a Lucky and Liz reunion if they had shown us some joy and passion in these two reuniting!
They have so many possibilities for Liz. Please find a direction and go that way!

wow, had to fan myself after watching that Youtube clip -bridgetsam- posted! Thanks for that by the way. After watching... definitely on board for a Niz pairing!
On another note, why oh why can't GH run moments like that youtube posting. For any of the relationships a montage with appropirately paired music is so powerful. I think even people on the fence for a pairing can get on board after watching something like that. It would likely even cut costs as you don't have to film hours of tape to get it... just piece together ones you already have! You would have any mood needed with the right clips and music!!!
I totally agree with abbe post-Make Lucky and Liz go to counselling prior to marriage, or alanon or something, so they can get back together, or have her find a whole new true love and NOT NIK! NIZ=INCEST!

I agree it's not incest, but I had another thought: If Jeff Webber is Liz's dad, and Rick Webber was Laura's dad, doesn't that make Nik AND Lucky cousins (once removed) to Liz ??? 
Rick Webber was Laura's adoptive father. I am drawing a blank as to who her biological father was. He wasn't anyone who was a regular on the show when Laura was introduced. I think he was shown in a storyline about her finding him or something. Goodness, this was when I first started watching the show. I was only 10 or 12 at the time!

Yes, Jeff's father was Steve Hardy and I don't know who Rick's was. Rick's father adopted Jeff. They shared a mother, I believe.

I am still on the fence with the Liz/Nik pairing. I am a Liason fan through and through and are heartbroken that the writers didn't give them the chance they deserve! But it does seem that they are going full steam ahead with JaSam so I would rather see Liz with Nik than back with Lucky anyday! I am just afraid that if I invest too much into Liz/Nik, like Liason, they will be pulled out from under me! i still don't know what the deal is with Rebecca/Nik, he seems to want to trash her, but it is all soapy if you ask me, he will set up to destroy Rebecca but he will actually start falling in love with her and than Liz, once again is booted to the curb, probably to crawl back to Luckless!
I see definite potential with Liz/Nik and would hope that they will give us a real love story for them and not dangle, yet again, that darn carrot in our faces like they did Liason! As for JaSam, I simply just will continue to fast forward through all their scenes. i have 0000000000000000000 interest in them, been there done that! 
I only meant it kind of felt like incest re: Nik and Liz, but I have to say, the kiss today was really Hot! So kissing cousins may be OK with me now! HAHAHA! I really dont want her to go back to Jason and would like to see him knowingly sue her for joint custody. I am kind of liking a Nik/Liz pairing after today, so I guess it is all good--kills two birds with one kiss-takes her away from Jason and I get to watch another hot couple! Great job GH--Keep Liz occupied with someone besides Jason!
