Here is the audition script:
The scene opens at the Haunted Star with Ethan and the woman in white. She is an enigma. Beautiful in an ethereal way. She might have stepped out of a forest in middle earth (for all anyone knows, she did). The woman in white has nothing to offer by way of memories, seemingly appearing out nowhere in a psychiatrist's office nearly a year ago, asking for help. There is no record of her. She has long blonde hair that always seems beyond her control, while her emotions remain tightly intact. Men are always so taken with her. She is coy and brazen. Intelligent and intuitive with a smoky voice, fluid movements. A placid but intense unsettling gaze in her blue eyes that can flash with mercurial anger or simply drift away. She's a challenge to anyone who meets her, and a threat to anyone that probes too close. Ethan is drawn to her like a moth to the flame.
Ethan
And you don't mind not knowing who you are?
The woman in white

Ethan
I'm curious.
The Woman In White
I tend to bring that out in people. And you?
Ethan
I know who I am.
The Woman In White
And you're all right with that?
Ethan
Uh yeah. I know my name. I have a past, a purpose. People...

Just like that. No mystery...No Fantasy?
Ethan
I don't understand.

You are set in stone. Or at least flesh. Tangible. Named. Aged. Documented. All boundaries labeled and established.
Ethan
Oh, I've been told I have no boundaries.

But you do. You are completely corralled by them. You are Ethan Lovett Spencer, confidence man. Luke Spencer's son. Lucky and Lulu Spencer's brother. Change your name at will. Perpetuate a new trade, but once you know who you are, your psychological circumference is sealed.
Ethan
And you have none?

I'd rather not have one.
Ethan
Doesn't that make you feel a little adrift?

I'm riddle without rhyme. I like it that way most times.

I cry my eyes a different color. I pull out all my hair and let it come in brown and brittle. I rub my fingers raw and hope to grow new prints that someone will know me by. But it passes, and I find comfort in my complexity, and draw my wonder around me to keep me warm. Maybe even hate the things I've done. I could be hated.
Ethan
Doubtful.

I'd remember that. At least the essence of it.

Love is too powerful, or so I've read. It transcends logic and infuses what we feel. Practically an illness...fatal at times. I'd know if I had ever been that sick.
Ethan
What if there was someone out there right now wondering where you are? His heart breaking?
The Woman In White
He would have found me if he'd wanted to. Bothered to. I suppose that makes me sad...tragic...unwanted.
Ethan
I can't figure it.

Why?
Ethan
You're too different.

And when my identity is uprooted, what if I am ordinary? Someone's pallid little wife. Or whore.....
Ethan

(laughs with delight) what if I am?

I like the idea of a new gal for Ethan. For now, I just want Krissy to be his friend. She just seems way too young to be his love interest. I like her better with another student. Down the road, after those relationships end, maybe it will be time for Ethan and Kristina. I think if they do it now viewers will be turned off as many were when Michael and Abby took things to the next step.
I'm sorry, but I can't stop laughing at that dialogue. It is so unbelievably hokey. "The Woman in White", besides being a cheesy name, sounds rather ridiculous. Hopefully it translates better on screen. Audition scripts aren't necessarily stories that are going on. I'm all for characters with mysterious pasts, but this sounds so corny.
Yes, I remember Angel.Thought she was just awful. She only wore white until the end. I forgot her explanation for it but do remember it was lame. I hope they aren't bringing that back. Hoping it's just for the one scene and they are just using that for the audition script. If not for Ethan, then maybe Johnny but then why wouldn't they make her read with Johnny?
Maybe we are getting a young female Quartermaine perhaps Jimmy Lee's daughter! Whoever she is she sounds interesting. I do however hope she connected to a core family!!!
This could be. I think the character was described as blond. Wasn't Jimmy Lee's wife a blond? Also, they were trying to pair Ethan with a Q. Obviously things didn't work out for the Maya character/actress but maybe they are going to try for a Q pairing again. This thing with Krissy could just be a summer story until they get the new character in place. Then, if they want to do Ethan and Kristina later it might work better.Maybe we are getting a young female Quartermaine perhaps Jimmy Lee's daughter! Whoever she is she sounds interesting. Maybe Laura had a daughter with Stavros and Helena took her at birth and has raised her in secret....How about it's Nik's twin sister and that may bring him back to PC. Just throwing that out there cause you never know when it comes to the Cassadines. After all how did Ethan come about we never knew about him till he just showed up!!!

i wouldnt mind her being a cassidine- i dont want another character that isnt connected to gh coming on though - if she is connected through a family then I say bring her on
The rumors about Ted King and Rick Hearst returning for short term gigs are still flying around. Either one works for me but I think having Rick back would generate a lot more stories. I wonder if he did return if Molly would find out some of the hurtful things her dad did. It would be perfect if she found out how Heathcliff almost beat him to death or how her sister had sex with him while her mom was fighting cancer. Reminds me of when Lucky found out about Luke's rape of Laura. The girl needs a wake up call before someone really takes advantage of her naivete. Ultimately I would just like to see her have her dad back.
I think if Ric ever returns and Molly finds out about what happened between her sister Sam and Ric she eventually would forgive him. I don't think it would take as long as it did for Lucky. He was older, not naive like Molly and had traveled the world. How would she react to Sam? She loves her sister and I'm sure it would be difficult for Molly to imagine that they slept together. Molly has a heart of gold. She sees the world thru rose colored glasses. Children want to see the good in their parents even if it isn't always there. Ric coming back would shake things up and as you said it could generate tons of stories. He's Sonny's brother, Alexis' ex, Molly's father, Jason despises him and how would Sam react?

I agree that Molly would forgive her dad and sister. The child has a forgiving nature. So while I would hate to completely destroy her romance novel world, she does need to face some cold hard facts. I'm sure Rick would reign her in when she tried to sell him on the greatest love story ever told that is Jasam...<gag and chortle> Maybe he could show her a few of the scars that he received from her romantic hero Jason.
I would like Ric Lansing back only because I like Rick Hearst but I didn't like the character. He would have a glimmer of redeeming qualities but it never lasted. I don't know how fast Molly would forgive her sister and father since it was a huge betrayal of her beloved mother. Alexis would be the only one to help her through that because she forgave Sam. While I would hate to see a child hurt even though she grates on my nerves at times, Molly needs a reality check. Romanticizing Bonnie & Clyde is NOT a good thing. I'd be happy never to see Ted King back.
