OK, I'll bite. I love the entire relationship. I miss the friendship, understanding, similarities it their upbringings, and most of all the trust. The romance was a plus - but if I had to live without one thing--- that would be it... but only because I want the "relationship" back. I think that Sonny and Alexis have great chemistry. I miss laughing out loud at the way Sonny could embarass Alexis, and Alexis could "one line" Sonny. I too am really sorry that the writers pulled the plug.

I'm a huge Sexis fan. Love their relationship - friendship and love. I loved their connection and the idea of these two controlling, insecure, intelligent people working through a romantic or friendly relationship was and could be amazing. I have a feeling that at least the friendship will come back in the future. It was mentioned by many critics that the Sexis pairing was one of the only good things to come out of last year. We'll see though.
It's too bad Sonny doesn't know about the baby -- I would love to see him trying to cook breakfast for Alexis, etc. Their interplay was priceless.
And don't worry, you aren't alone. There are entire website related to Sexis.

Forgot to say that I love the picture.
I think we have not seen the end to this wonderful relationship between S&A. They just have too much history together to let slip away.
Remember, Alexis moved out of the PH but she's still in PC. She and Sonny keep bumping into each other. Or is it that he seems to find excuses to see her?
She may not be his attorney any more but there's a lot more to this SL than legal work.

I for sure am still a Sexis fan. Those of you who were on the Sexis themes thread certainly know that I was very vocal about it.
I have a hunch this friendship certainly isn't over. Sonny seems to pop up wherever Alexis is and always makes time to chat with her. I still envision her being in labour and screaming at Ned to get Sonny because she needs him with her. I continue to think this is how he is going to find out. Or, they are trapped together somewhere, possibly with Carly and the two of them help deliver his baby at which point Alexis pants that the adorable little girl is his.
Just thoughts, what do you guys think?

Should I be ashamed that I took the Sexis breakup personally? Gosh, I was so torn up... !!!
I have tried to accept it but can't help noticing little things when Alexis and Sonny share scenes. I keep a lot of feelings to myself on these boards because I don't want to be ridiculed.
But....
I still believe Sonny is in love with Alexis and she is in love with him. I know the popular thing to say is Sonny 'loves' Carly and Alexis is over Sonny, but I can't do it. I accept it may be unresolved wishing on my part, but sorry. I just don't feel otherwise about these two. Personally, I think both Sonny and Alexis are too scared to admit their true feelings. It is easier to go back to Carly and Ned because it is known territory. And as for going back to just friendship, pshaw!!! Unless it's for the purpose of delicious and prolonged foreplay, I say not !!!

Not a SEXIS fan, but loved their friendship. I'm not an S/C fan either...I don't get into all the couples that way. I am however angry at Carly for being the way she is. It seems to me she don't trust Sonny to be around Alexis, and to me that's like saying she don't love him as much as she says she does. How can you love someone but not trust them? I hope Sonny and Alexis tell Carly to shove it where the sun don't shine, so they can be friends again.

I also agree that the "fear factor" in the unknown territory, and the "comfort zone" are the reason they are not together. I must say that although I hated them together sexually or romantically, I miss their friendship. They made me laugh so often, and I looked forward to their banter. I loved how they stuck up for one another.
That being said, whoever made mention of Carly not trusting Sonny to be around Alexis... I ask, would you trust your husband to be around a woman, who has proven she is not worthy of your trust and has no respect for your relationship with the man you love? Would you trust the man who says that he has no feelings, only to catch them in bed together? They obviously lied when they said their was no attraction to begin with, so now you should trust that they are telling the truth this time?
I just had someone break my trust in them two weeks ago. He is upset that I now doubt all that he says... I say TOUGH. You have proven to me that you have no problem lying and if you want this relationship to work, you must work at getting me to trust you again. So... it's Sonny's fault and he needs to fix it.

I am an Alexis fan first, then yes, a Sexis fan. I have to say though that I hated the scenes where they finally made love. The build up was great, but then I was dissapointed. those scenes were too awkward. I wish we could have them back as friends and then as lovers, and parents to their beautiful daughter( I see dark , curly hair and huge brown eyes) but I dont see it ever happening again. unless S& C break up sometime in the future and go their separate ways.

I agree with scrappy, I am an Alexis fan first, a Sexis fan second. I desparately miss the Sexis interactions, the bantering, the teasing, the fact that they tell each other the truth. To have Alexis lying to Sonny is painful to watch, no matter the justification. I have to believe they are going to get back together, and I keep hoping for something like a Joyce Davenport/Frank Furillo long term affair, like on Hill Street Blues all those years ago. The build up to the sex scenes, their confrontation, was electricifying. That was real acting. They were both phenomenal. The sex scenes were supposed to be awkward. These weren't two lovers coming together, they were two friends, under extraordinary circumstances, reaching out to one another. Sonny was desparate not to lose Alexis, and the best way he has ever found to hold on to a woman is to take her to bed. Alexis has been in love with Sonny for quite a while, and lusting after him for at least six months, perhaps longer. That first kiss was breath-taking (yes, pun intended), and the rest of it, up in his bedroom was the natural awkwardness of two friends coming together for the first time, neither real sure of the other, but both needing to be there. Boy, I resented the fact that they were not given the chance to explore the new aspect of their relationship, before Carly's "disappearance" interfered in the form of Zander. I want their friendship back, but I want them to have a chance to get back to that place, just to see if it where they want to be, and I don't see them hating each other, now or in the future.

Finally, it wasn't about the "protecting the girl" and "sending her to her room"- he had to think with Alexis and I loved it. They bring out things in each other that no other character does. I truly beleive that somewhere down the line after S/C have done their same story over and over again that it will be revisited. In the meantime, I hope thier friendship comes back as well as their "parenting" relationship.

Last week one episode Alexis who is one of the worst liars looked at Sonny (the mob boss..who can read people) in the eye and said Ned is telling the truth about the Baby being his.
Either Alexis took an overnight course in lying or Sonny is just plain stupid. I vote for the second option.
I love the SL of Alexis being pregnant but the characters are being written differently.
Sonny is suddenly a low IQ person. They need to get back to the smart and funny way they used to write Alexis and Sonny. That was fun to watch.
I am a Sexis fan...but at this point I would settle for a friendship.

Although I love Sonny/Alexis, I think things are going to be quite strained between them in the near future. Alexis is distancing herself from him now because she says he is dangerous (he is but we all know that's not the real reason...) If Kristina's rumored demise is true, then she will also be PO'ed at him for a looooong while.
But the main thing that bothers me is the return of Brenda. When she comes back, Sonny will be like a three-headed hydra. One head will be confused about Carly, the other about Brenda (she's alive? and she's loving the guy who's trying to smoke me???) and the third about our Lexie--- the woman he is too dumb to know he really loves and who is also the mother of his child.

I can be patient if I have to be. To me these two are powerful together, whether or not they are a couple, doesn't matter.
Whenever they do a scene together (even now) there is great chemistry. They really do connect. And as long as Alexis is carrying Sonny's baby-well that's enough for me right now.

It's a gut feeling I have that he does know about the baby and because of the danger around him right now and because he respects Alexis' wishes, he is going along with her and pretending not to know.
BUT, the way she looked at him yesterday tells me that she realizes he does know and that this is their secret to keep for the time being.

I don't think the baby is going anywhere. I can't imagine that they would put Alexis through losing both Kristina and the baby. It's too much for the character and her fans. I miss Sexis too although I'm not sure how it would work with this version of Sonny putting out hits so casually....... there is no way this version would have stopped the hit on AJ.

I just don't know how sexis would ever overcome this. I think that Sonny did need to hear this, what with him planning on expanding his own family. Also when it comes out that Alexis is carrying his baby he will understand why she hid it. I think Alexis will admit if at least to herself that Sonny really wasn't to blame for the explosion. Guza sure seems to be beating on sexis lately...

Hello Sexis friends. I thought yesterday was an amazing Sexis scene. It illustrated perfectly the connection between these two. Alexis could lash out and Sonny and he knew why. One thing I've always loved about Sexis is how she held him accountable for his life - she never excused it the way that Carly does. Remember the famous - Is it worth what I paid for it? and she say's Probably not.... She held Sonny to the truth of who he was - good and bad. I love how he took it from her. How he held her. Don't worry about the baby. I have no doubt that it is here to stay. Too much long-term storyline riding on this kid.

I love Sexis! They are great together. I have still not given up hope. And yesturday was a perfect example of why. Sexis has a connection like no other, even when there argueing it's there. Theie scenes were great yesturday from Alexis collapseing into Sonny's arms to her blaming him. They never miss a beat and that's what make them so enjoyable to watch. And despite what some people are saying Alexis doesn't hate Sonny and it hasn't been completely destroyed between them. Alexis loves Sonny and everything she said was true yesturday that's why Sonny respects her so much she speaks the truth. And I don't think he is gonna blame her when he finds out about the baby. She is just trying to protect their child from his lifestyle not really from him. I look forward to future scenes with them and hope the writers someday wake up and realize that they belong together!

Okay, I sort of posted this in another thread but thought that you guys might understand it more.
In reference to Alexis lashing out at Sonny and saying the things she did to him - Anyone else see that whole idea of "you can say things to your friends - even hurtful things - that you wouldn't say to anyone else"? I think that Sonny understands her pain because he knows that side of her - those deep down feelings about her mother and Cassadines - in a way that noone else does. Sonny knows what Alexis went through in her life. The horrific things she's witnessed, the guilt and regret that came from it, he knows because he feels that too. I truly believe that somewhere down the line - this interaction will be acknowledged. I hope so. It would make sense for their friendship to come full circle. I think Alexis always thought that in the end, he would protect her and her family. But in the last few months with what happened to Zander and now Kristina, she's lost that trust, that safety of a close friend and it's killing her.
Actually I thought of it as a "sexis moment" . It even crossed my mind that he knew exactly what she was trying to do my "disrespecting him in public". Somehow, I think deep down he knows this baby is his and knows that Alexis is trying to protect it.

Anniechapel..you just made a whole lot of sense to me.
Sonny and Alexis in the past year shared pretty much all their secret.

Sonny knows Alexis real well and that is why he reacted this way at the memorial.
You seen his comforting hand on her back when she dropped to the ground crying over the urn.
But he did lash out at Ned accusing him for allowing Alexis to get this upset and not seeing after her.
Also the day earlier in the hospital he took her verbal beating without uttering one sound.
I don't know which way this s/l is going to go..since Brenda is coming back..but I believe that some kind of understanding and trust between the two will be reestablished.
Sexis lives!

I have been really missing the old days of Sonny and Alexis.
I signed in to the board and saw everything now is about Nexis, Liason, S/C, etc. There is also Jaxis, which is my second choice of pairing with Alexis. I signed out, put a couple of key names (?) into the browser and surfed. Imagine my surprise when I saw there is evidence of Sexis fans en masse out there in cyberspace. Like Anniechapel says, this pairing gets a beating on this board. It was so comforting to find that non-Sexis fans do not rule the universe.
