I don't have a favorite couple.  I gave up on couples years ago.  They never last and I get disappointed.  I love Liz and if TPTB write her back with Lucky then fine with me.  I was hoping she would pair up with Matt but either way, Lucky/Matt is better than her being alone. 
 

I think if they get back together,  I want Liz to have another baby so Lucky can at least have one biological child.

I can't help but feel if these rumors are 'true' then TPTB don't have a clue what it will take to 'fix' the current state of GH... LL2 again is ridiculous and this fan won't be watching... along with many others I'm afraid... 
 
For me on a soap you just about HAVE to have a couple that you root for and without one its just a 'show' take it or leave it... I prefer to WANT to root for a favorite pairing...
 
I remember back to Nina and Cliff on AMC, Jenny and Greg... heck ALL the really good pairings were couples you just had to root for! IMO... I'm just sad if this is true then I will continue to watch very little of GH...

(and again and again and again). So what makes TIIC think that we've changed our minds since the 2 months they dangled this idea at us before!?

Thats what everyone was led to believe which is why I say that TPTB don't have a CLUE what the Fans of GH really want... if they did then there's no way they would be going down that road again...

LL2 were not shelved because fans didn't want them again.  In fact, they weren't shelved at all.  Any re-pairing of the couple had to wait while Lucky served as angst in the Nik/Rebecca storyline.  Secondly, TPTB realized that to rush back into LL2, just after Liz and Jason called it quits, had no chance of being accepted.  This time, supposedly, they are to rebuild the couple as they are now, rather than have them get back together just because its comfortable.  You saw a preview of that intention in their scenes after the hospital fire.

Gee Elizabeth and Lucky again? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz He is a major step backwards for her. Why can't they have her with someone else? Why does he alawys have to toss her back towards him? Just because Guza doesn't know or want to write for her doesn't mean that everyone wants to see her trade down to Luky.  Can't they ever think of anything original?!
 
 

Shirley if you can answer this I would appreciate any input you might have.  With the current ratings for GH falling faster each week with currently no end in sight based on what I've heard for upcoming sweeps, what can you tell us from your perspective on what they will try to do to stop things from getting any worse?  I am assuming you have insider input and hear more than the rest of us and might be able to shed some light on the current state of affairs at Prospect.... TIA~

Based on what has just been spoiled I would have to say that TPTB are still as clueless as ever...

I can see where this storyline is headed.  Lucky and Liz vs Jason and Sam and Jake in the middle of it all.  Sam will tell Jason oh you need to be a part of your son's life and so the battle starts or continues take your pick!  They have had this set up since the begining....I guess cheaters do prosper in the land of General Hospital! Don't forget murders do too.

Maybe it's actually Sam - Now that she has her P.I. Business  and she has to stay out of the Mob - Maybe they will hook back up.

Please don't tell me Liz and Lucky will be paired together once again. If this will truly be the case, I will have to move back to Salem.

As a viewer of ABC one would think that the audience would be the last word in what is seen on that network since we in essence "pay the bills." I would say that the fans of GH have made it perectly clear what they would like to see.. but we are fed things that we must come to "accept"like  LL2  Why is it that the  audience has to cater to the whims of the writers ? Shouldn"t it be the other way around? Are they suprised they are last?

I know I am a minority but I liked Liz and Lucky of old.  I agree that they were backburned enough that it became very boring but... given a good story line I'd LOVE to see Rebecca and Greg get the chance to act together.  I love them both and I love the Liz/Lucky of old.  I'd like to see them with a great story line that they deserve. 

I also thnk it's great that GH would respect the couples that they put so much into - legacy couples so to speak.  And although I agree that they put some time into Liason and should have allowed them to get a chance at happiness... at least we may see Liz in a story again and not just alone.

I also was ready to give up on couples... but because of Carson and Jasam.  I'd like to invest in couples on GH again and of course these current rumblings are good for a Jasam fan, I'd be happy with most couples given a chance.  I could have really gotten behind Liason even but the way they wrote Sam in order to break Jasam up angered me too bad for that. jmo

I'm a minority here but I'm glad that L&L2 are going to be together.  IMO, they belong together forever. I wish that Jake would turn out to be Lucky's son or that L&L2 would have a hild together.  I hope that we get some character growth from Lucky and that he is less jealous and insecure this time.  They are a couple I can see grow old together.

I feel like GH is getting back on track somewhat.  IMO the writting seems better.  I'm hoping that it will continue. I was thrilled to see KM do the PPD public service announcement and I'm excited about Michael waking up and hopefully exploring his inner Q.

Are the writers planning on keeping Sonny and Claudia together?  I really wish she would get what she deserves.  Even if they just make her leave the country or something.  Also, I'm really hoping that it will be Carly that delivers to term and not Claudia. Please let me that Claudia will not be the one (else it is Ric's child in which case I would LOVE to see that)

I think Claudia's story lines in general are more dependent on Sarah Brown's contract- she only originally signed for a year, then re-upped for another year. Just a thought.

From what I've read about fan-reaction and so forth, the higher ups mainly respond to written letters first, followed by telephone. Comment cards, emails, postcards (??) fall a very distant third. Internet feedback (ie GHH and other sites) aren't even in the rearview.

There are talented characters that are underutilized, storylines and dialogue that have been recycled more times than an aluminum can, actors of past and present have been speaking out about the falling ratings, pairings that could be explored but aren't, pairings that have been overexplored and thus I suggest the "beating a dead horse" saying, it's clear we're unhappy as fans and the ratings prove it, what will it take for them to listen to us? There's a lot of unexplored potential with the show, and yes the writing has started to improve slightly but it's just a bandaid over the real issues with the show.

I'm a minority too. I am glad for Lnl2. And if Liz could give for once a child to Lucky, it would be nice too. A girl , that will really be Lucky's child. I hope they will together for a long time.
