Hmmmm - just came to me and why it didn't come to me earlier I don't know - does the custody battle OUT Jason as Jake's father?

Good question because then everyone will know that Elizabeth perjured herself.

Honestly with everything that's happened I would love for Jake to turn out to be Lucky's, I think it would be the best thing for everyone. After all Jason isn't even in Jake's life, Lucky is the only daddy Jake knows same with Cam.

eeeeewwwwwwwwwww  that could be interesting... it seems inevitable that it will be out soon since EVERYONE already knows... It would probably be seriously easier to list the people who DONT know than who does know at this point. 
 
Changing parentage?  I'm not sure if tptb are going to be willing to let that liason link go entirely at this point. And I'm not sure it really matters to anyone.

LOL, is that the only thing you get from that question?  I think outing Jason is a much bigger point.

mommyofone - I used to hate the idea of changing the paternity but now I'm all for it.  JJ and Jake both deserve better.

First time I have considered that idea as something positive.  I thought previously, when GV was Lucky, that Jake might as well be his since Jason is NOT his father in any way that matters, but now that JJ is Lucky, I would LOVE for Jason to lose his "father" status.  He doesn't deserve him and I would love to see JJ as Jakes Dad!  Real Dad, or not real dad but BIO dad.

If Jake isn't Jason's it will break his heart... but what kind of dad has he been anyway?  Who cares.

If Lucky is Jake's dad it will put him in an even better position to take custody from Liz that is NOT good... they should not even be arguing about it... share your kids for their sake!!!

If Lucky were Jake's he would be ecstatic and it would put Lucky and Liz in the position of having an even stronger bond... something to force them to try harder and get past differences once this Nik scandle ends... assuming that it will eventually

I remember back when Liz perjured herself, the rumors where flying about her going to jail...LOL   I don't think the writers really want to send Liz to jail for perjury considering that others have done worse and gotten away with it.

Will it break his heart or will he be relieved?  I know he said how disappointed he was when he thought he wasn't the father but that was before all that went down. He has absolutely no relationship with Jake so it isn't something he is going to miss.

I refuse to believe that Jake isn't jason's. there is too much of a story there that can and will be explored down the road. Jake is Jason's, I will stand by that until the writers do another one of their major rewrites. then I'll be done maybe, because I'm so sick of the writers re-writing history. I want to say to them,. that's your story and stick to it. Stop it already with the vascillating back and forth. Did I spell that right??!!!!

In my opinion he'll be both... I think Jason does love Jake... thus the protective mode he went into... BUT he'll probably ALSO be relieved because he won't feel like his own existance is putting Jake into danger if an enemy finds out which IMO is inevitable.

Honestly it really doesn't matter who Jakes bio-father is cuz Lucky is Jake's daddy, and he's the only daddy that he's ever known. Jason is no father what's so ever, he never asks about Jake unless something happens to him.

ITA I've always said that too. 

Lucky does accept Jake and Cam as his own, so it doesn't matter, and adds an element of soapyness by him not be bio dad, but dunno, now that JJ is Lucky, I can see years of father/son stuff, just like he and Luke had when he grew up on the show, but then again, how long will JJ actually be around..?

Sam and Jason are an obvious choice.  Maybe Dante and Lulu if Franco is Dante's childhood friend.  Carly and Jax, only because of Carly's friendship with Jason.  Lucky and Liz only because of Jake.  That doesn't answer how the relationships are changed.  Interesting spoiler.

I am hearing that Guza said Jason and Sam are in it for the long term...so maybe he is involved with them staying together.
