Thanks for the response Shirley. I have always like JJ as Lucky and I feel badly that he and Nik are going to be at odds with each other over this.....Liz and Nik should just stay away from each other. I'm not saying Lucky and Liz should go back together, I think that ship has sailed, but as for Nik and Liz, IMO, love somebody else....
Ok here is a crazy thought...Last night while watching yesterday's episode I got to thinking, you know that spoiler shirley has up, where guza or someone says, you'll never guess who gets the final revenge against Claudia. What if it's Kate?? And oh boy, does she have a lot to be vengeful for when it comes to Claudia. Don't know if this has already been talked about here, but what do you all think? Shirley??!!
It's awesome seeing JJ again. He does lovely little things with his body and face--subtle. He's a pro, and he will, like he always did even as a kid, bring other actors into the scenes with him, energize them, and create some great moments. This is one of GH's most impressive coups in years, and I'm excited (though trepidatious) about what they can do with the new Lucky (GV has his charms, but he's about as subtle as an atomic bomb).

I agree. He's got that certain something special that can't really be defined. Tony Geary has it, Dominic Z. has it and so does JJ. They have this presence that makes me lean forward a little in my seat when they are on screen. There are times particularly when I'm not fond of Luke's story, but he makes me pay attention. I think they scored a great coup at this time especially, when GH seems to be trying to lessen the focus on the mob. Having JJ, a very popular actor, return helps to draw attention to the other non-mob related stories.
Watched the clip and thought JJ was great. (Liked GV too.) Already felt a different vibe between Lucky and Liz. I know it was only a minute clip, but I was finding it hard to think that this Lucky slept with Maxie for drugs and had a relationship with Sam. I don't know why, but it made me giggle. It will probably take a little time for my brain to adjust to the change.
Just watched the JJ video for like the 10th time lol, I just love how her face lights up when she sees JJ at the door. My favorite line of his "That would be why they call me Lucky." Love how she laughed and ushered him inside. The vibe is defiantly different between them already, I can just feel their chemistry coming off the screen.

The actor Seamus Dever(?) who played Ian Devlin, is on this show (which I love, btw). Last night there was a Halloween party on the show and Seamus was a doctor! He looked exactly like he used to look on GH: blue scrubs, white lab coat and stethascope(?) around his neck! He also has red blood splattered on the white coat! LOL
"jason's fans are finally getting disgusted and FF'ing him more and more which leaves more and more people open to JJ's version of liz and lucky JJ is a amazing actor as is steve and like steve has charm and charisma if JJ/Lucky gets a good store line i see him for sure taking the lime light and Steve/Jason getting a back seat which may be ok with steve i mean didn't i read he wanted less screen time? to be with his family?"
I'm a Jason fan who isn't disgusted. IMO he has grown over the last year...he has exhibited true forgiveness which in the past he had a problem with, he has overcome a large portion of his self imposed isolation by maintaining a live in relationship with Spinelli. He's developed a better understanding of how his parents pined for him while he suffered his brain injury thru what's happened to Michael and now is becoming more than cordial to his Q family. The only thing he's doing that I don't agree with is not being around Jake but he is stallwart in his beleif that it's for Jake's protection so I have to respect that decision.
I also do not think Jason needs to take a backseat to Lucky or vice versa. There is room on the show for all the hot boys to shine...and that list includes, for me at least: Jason, Johnny, Dante, Nik, patrick and Lucky!

I have to say that as a Jason fan I have seen tremendous growth on his part. He (unlike Sonny) has learned the power of forgiveness and has realized that he does deserve love in his life. He has become more understanding of the Qs. The "old" Jason would never put up with Spinelli, or Maxie or wear a pink tie LOL! I am loving Jason and he will never take a backseat to anyone IMHO. Well maybe Robert Scorpio - but they can share the front seat!
Jason and Lucky are so different there is no reason for either to take a backseat. Except Guza loves him some mob so Jason will always be front and center while Guza is there.
I'm looking forward to watching tonight - for JJ's Lucky and for Jason and for Jasam - and for the whole show actually!
Yes, I watch Castle and loved the doctor costume last night, a nice nod to GH.
I am looking forward to JJ and Rebecca and Tony all acting together, I would prefer that the returning Lucky actually be explained by some Cassadine evil plot, but I guess that is not to be. So much of the bad writing for Lucky could have been explained away by Lucky still being brainwashed and suffering the side effects of the virus story line, something that could bring Lucky back to his core self. But Alas that is not to be. Also, don't forget that Lucky and Nicolas did not start out as "brothers" there was a lot of animosity between them in the beginning and I can see that play out again with the Nic Liz reveal. Also, Luke has always had mixed feelings about Nic and it didn't seem out of character for him to warn Ethan to tread carefully. Nic has not attachment to Ethan and does not have to consider Laura's feelings so he could go all Cassadine on him.
Regarding the stalking story line and obsession with Jason I would like it to be a psychological thriller, a crazed serial killer who is modeling himself after Jason's persona, or a crime novelist a la Castle who is researching for a series of books, but since I believe that JF is going to be on so rarely I suppose it makes sense that his character support an already existing story line which could be Dante's efforts to bring down the mob because of his father figure allegedly being murdered by Sonny. Still I am hoping for some real angst for all characters involved. Sonny, Jason and Johnny need to re-evaluate their life choices, and I am seeing a little of that on my screen so maybe it can happen. Also, Olivia, Kate, Carly, Jax and even Alexis need a wake up call about their choices as well. Michael, Morgan, Kristina and Molly are of the age where they are influenced by the adults in their life, and no one wants to see this pattern of behavior to be cycled down to the next generation. Many modern day mobsters are going legit for their children, and I would like to see that happen on GH.

ITA. Jason has shown more growth lately than in a long time. The storyline with Michael definitely showed him FINALLY understand what the Qs did so long ago. I really don't see anything that shows that he hasn't grown.

I used to be a Jason fan, but not so much anymore. Taking Sam back was the last straw, after what she did to his Son it was just ridiculous on so many levels. Now I'm going to sit back and jump on the JJ train, not that I ever got off of it lol. I'm a major fan of JJ's, have been since the beginning and can't wait to see what he's going to bring back to GH.

here's my order: Dante, Jason, Johnny, JJ as Lucky (though I don't lust, yet). I don't lust for Patrick though he's handsome for sure. Nik's horrible parenting and betrayal of his bro have totally turned me off to him.
JJ will always be #1 then I guess it would be Dante, Johnny, Patrick, Spin, Matt and last Jason.
I wonder what the percentage of people who are liason fans think that Jason is "totally out of character?" I would bet it would be most.
If you read the Jason Morgan Appreciation thread, those that are just Jason fans and not necessarily a couple fan think Jason has really grown, like seeing all the various sides of him and are really enjoying him right now.
Just think it is an interesting comparison.
I wonder what the percentage of people who are liason fans think that Jason is "totally out of character?" I would bet it would be most. If you read the Jason Morgan Appreciation thread, those that are just Jason fans and not necessarily a couple fan think Jason has really grown, like seeing all the various sides of him and are really enjoying him right now. Just think it is an interesting comparison.

how has he grown lol when he took over the role he was basically Sonny's enforcer he focused solely on sonny and his family and not his own he had a woman on the side no real family now 18 years later he is the same he is all consumed by Sonny's family and sonny life and not his own. he has a woman on the side and no real family ...that he acknowledges anyway his son doesn't know him and his mother and grandfather never see him . He has not shown forgiveness because he is wanting to kill a woman who unintentionally hurt Sonny's son but ignores the fact that sam did the same to Jake honestly he is a mess lol
