The SPOILERholics Thread!! (Discuss, Jeer, and Cheer)
I highly doubt Jason is leaving the mob. He doesn't want to. Who knows because I've been wrong before when I was so sure. When I heard they were doing Sonny & Emily I LMBO and said no way. That'll teach me.
I was looking at the pix of jason in the spoiler page. The one that looks like a file card or something. Says he was born in 1969, brown hair, blue eyes, then his picture is adjacent to it, and then under it it says, "Hispanic". This is the first I 'm hearing that jason has any Hispanic origins, did I miss something along the way.

I think that pic shows Jason's info along with Mannys.
Shirley, Can you tell us if this Nik/Liz pairing on again off again whatever, is only temporary. Meaning, they are NOT getting together...plus, one more question if you will: does the Jasam "marriage of convenience" turn into something more. I mean I know they are together again, is this going to be a long term marriage with babies and setting up house etc. personally, I'm sick over it, but that is just my opinion.

I can't tell you the long range plans for Niz but I can tell you that the story (triangle) involving Liz, Lucky and Nikolas is far from over.
I haven't heard anything about Jasam having babies, but plans for the Jasam pairing continue at least through February.

That's right, it shows Jason as a suspect in Manny's murder.
OK, there's a party at the Metrocourt this week for Claudia. Is there also still going to be an engagement party for LNL2 at The Haunted Star? I thought that was this week but maybe it got changed since they put off the reveal to Lucky.-buffybluth
They already had the engagement party (those were the scenes at the Spencer house). However, there are other scenes (with Lucky and Liz, etc.,) coming up this week at the Haunted Star.
At least 4 more months of Jasam made my day, a Jasam Christmas and new Years, ya. Thanks ShirleyI can't tell you the long range plans for Niz but I can tell you that the story (triangle) involving Liz, Lucky and Nikolas is far from over. Hey Shirley, is Rebecca still going to get pregnant? I can't wait to see how Luke handles that with Nick and Ethan. And, Lucky and Nick fighting about Liz. He sure will have his hands full.
On a side note, I am loving GH and all the new, none mob storylines.
don't forget a possible Valentine's Day!!! I liked Shirley's original wording before she edited that post, but I'll take Feb for now!
thanks, Shirley. I thought it was going to be a bigger shindig at THS with JJ in the role, but I must've been mixing up all the spoilers!!!
Overload in thoughts of Holiday season to come!!
THUD...
Thanks for the Promo, Shirley. I can't wait to see how it all plays out on the screen. It all looks great though. All the spoilers and what I have been seeing on the screen make me want to rush home just to watch it on the DVR.
"You don't know what's in Sonny's head" BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
My brother is a doctor and he says people in nursing homes often display outrageous or antisocial behavior because there are specific areas in the brain that govern self restraint and allow us to live by society's rules. When you get old, those areas are the first to die off as the brain ages-hence it justifies the actions of "Dirty Old Ladies". But I digress...I have always thought that Jason and Michael both having head injuries, suffer from the same thing. The writers are trying to show us that Jason understands Michael's behavioral problems because they are similar. Arent they also trying to say that their head injuries make it easier for them to rationalize and justify killing someone? Also their head injuries make it harder for them to control their emotions, so Jason at least has over compensated in the way he reacts to situations, by not reacting at all. He has been coaching Michael to learn to get these emotions under control, but obviously, Michael is not adapted yet, so would be even more likely to immediately react with violence than Jason would. When he found he actually had proof of Claudia's plot, you could see Jason's body shaking with rage, and Steve did a great job of portraying his seething struggle to hold it in. I mean I felt him almost ready to explode! I know that fans would be upset to have Michael commit a "crime of passion" murder, but frankly, Sonny killing someone for me is more unrealisitic, because he hasnt suffered a blow to his brain, and a mob boss usually doesnt get his hands dirty. However, this is a fantasy and we know in the world of the mob, Claudia is worthy of a hit. She is a traitor and will need to be eliminated, I just think in the real mob, she would be killed and then would disappear, very neatly, with no one knowing what happened to her. If they must kill her off, I wish she would just disappear and not let us see it, or just have Sonny shoot her and push her body into the ocean, so she could sleep with the fish.
Hey, this is a good soap because we still want to see Sonny and Jason, we understand the code they live by, their need for vengence, and they still have redeeming qualities that make us want to see how they live their lives. I am sorry to see Claudia go, I thought she was a good evil character, and I thought SJB was terrific in the part, however there seems to be a good story waiting so lets move on!
I really hope the spoilers about Michael being like his father are more likely shown when he deals with Keifer, rather than Claudia. I hope Sonny and Jason or even Johnny, take care of Claudia. I am probably in a minority, but I hope Michael does show that he is like Sonny, and will follow in his footsteps. Kiefer is a sick kid and I hope Michael gets him good! The mob plays a big part in this Soap's plots and I hope it continues. It gives it a lot of spice that other soaps dont have. I love the actor who is playing Michael right now, and I think the relationship with Kristina is great.
VIVA LA "GENERAL HOSPITAL"!
Great points about Michael, waternellen, ITA with you about his relationship to Kristina and by extension, Keifer. Isn't it ironic that Michael, the victim, of all people, actually went to Johnny to warn him that Claudia's time was growing short?
On the other hand, I find Jason to be a complete hypocrite (Sonny too). Sam said it all for me today. Bottom line for me is that it was business, it was an accident that the boy was shot, it was not Claudia who ultimately pulled the trigger, she did show deep remorse, and it was Sonny's fault that Michael was in the line of fire to begin with. As an enforcer, Jason is in no place to judge Claudia's actions.
It cannot be ignored that she just saved Sonny's life. If Sam could be forgiven by saving Jake, than so can Claudia in this instance. Neither actually did the deed they were/will be hated for. The only way anyone connected to Sonny can kill Claudia with rightousness, IMO, is if she poses an immediate threat. Otherwise they would merely be vengeance seeking murderers with no redeeming qualities. And we can't have that. So where does that leave us?

I will miss Claudia.

OOooooo it does sound like Michael will be committing a crime of passion where he cannot control himself via the brain injury... and it sounds also like maybe because Claudia is putting Carly in jeopardy it will be more accepted by viewers since Michael is young and not able to control himself and wanting only to protect his mother/baby sis.
Am I close Shirley???
