OT: SCRIPT ERROR HELP

Everytime I try to upload a picture/banner/siggie, anything basically, my computer gives me a script error after I choose the picture and click "Add Photos". I am trying to upload from my computer 9which I have done numerous times from different comps) This only happens on a certain computer here at work. I went to trouble shooting and did what it said (clear temp files, cookies, history) but it is still happening. Is there anything that I can do? I am on Windows XP. Thanks!

I have never had that happen. But check to see if the files you are trying to upload are BTMP. I don't know if that makes a difference. I am on windows XP and I have BTMP files!!!!

Thanks for responding Lizzie. The files are all either .gif or .jpg. They are mostly the siggies you've made for me or other people that I really want!

This happens to me all the time ... you have to make sure you have the exact name and whether it is .bmp, .jpg or .gif--hope this helps!

Laurie, I tries...I just saved your "Elmer Fudd" pic as gif file and then went back to open and upload it and it happened again. I even typed .gif after the file name b/c it asn't there, but it was under it as "Pictures (*.gif, *.jpg)". Still doesn't work

Did you say you had to type in GIF because the option wasn't there????? If so you need to delete all your temporary internet files. Is it only letting you save as btmp files?
Try going to TOOLS....INTERNET OPTIONS....Then delete temporary internet files.

laurie- when I save as should I change the file name from "elmergun%5F" to "elmergun.gif" And do I ahve to put the .gif since below where you have to put the file name it says "Save as type GIF (*.gif) "

lizzie: there is no choice that says btmp, the only choices are: htm, html gif or jpg

My hubby told me yes--always type in .gif or whatever and he is my resident expert, depending on his computer for his job and getting tested on his expertise! Email me please!

Nothing is working.... I saved it as elmer/gun.gif, elmergunamanda.gif, elmer.gif and it saves fine, but they won't upload for anything! This is depressing, lol!

Are you making sure there is no ) symbol or anything else in the name that should not be there?
