Zander and Gia? Any other fans??????

I was a total ZEM fan until this past month and I can't not watch the cruel way EMily is treating ZAnder. I makes me totally ill. But I have noticed that Zander and Gia seem to have a sweet chemistry. The same way that Nicholas and EMily seem to have. Am I alone in becoming a Zia fan???? I sure hope not. I have rarely posted here so please be kind!!

Hi there luvzemsmagic!!! I a fan of Zander's and Gia's friendship. I think they have great chemistry. I'm a little wary though if they decided to put those two together. They've written Zander in such a way, that it seems like any woman he's with, they will always be second choice when it comes to Emily. I don't want Gia to be anyone's second choice (I'm a Gia fan first through and through lol). However, I could get into a Zander and Gia relationship if it was written correctly. Sadly, I don't think that is what TPTB want. I will tell you this, you are definitely not alone in wanting Zander and Gia together. Just today, I was searching some old topics about Gia at another board, and I was surprised at how many people liked them. I don't know if too many people like them here, though I could be wrong. All in all, I really like them. I especially liked them today;even with that short scene. There was something different about there scene today, and I just can't put my finger on what it was. If you read spoilers, I advise you to go check out Shirley spoilers, and click on spoiler3. I'm sure you'll see something you like.

I wouldn't mind zander and gia except that I hate the new gia and think she is one of the worst recast, so I could go for ZIA if they recasted gia again:)

I totally agree sm t. I do not like the new Gia either. I wish they would bring Marissa back since her show was cancelled. I could see her and Zander together, maybe, but not the NuGia. I wish she would go away!

I'm so very sorry that you two aren't liking Andrea Pearson's Gia. I personally love her!!! I think that she is a wonderful recast!!! I don't know what it is, but I just love her. BTW, I think I figured out what was different between Zander and Gia yesterday. It had to be that intense look she gave him.

I also love the new Gia, I think Andrea is doing a fantastic job. That is probably due to the fact that I never really like the original Gia. NuGia is much kinder and more mature, I didn't like the spoiled version of Gia from before. IMHO Well, at least I know I am not totally alone, and though I know Zia will never happen I can dream can't I. I did like the looks they were giving each other yesterday. Michele

iluvzemsmagic-there isn't anything wrong with dreaming LOL. I love how Gia has stood by and been there for Zander when no one else would be. I was also dissapointed that we didn't get to see a follow up of yesterday's scene. I knew in the back of my head that we wouldn't see it, but like you said, I can dream.
(Gia comes up)
Gia: You trying to kill someone?
(Zander starts to walk away, and Gia grabs him by the arm)
Gia: Hey hey hey, hold up, hold up.
Zander: I can't Gia, I can't stop moving.
Gia: It's Emily isn't it?
Zander: Don't say her name to me.
Gia: Wow, ok.
Zander: I know I said it before, yada yada yada, but it's over.
Gia: Good, because this is tearing you up.
Zander: I know, I know.
Gia: Alright, this is going to take something physical. Lets go for a run.
Zander: I don't know Gia.
Gia: Come on. We'll move, and we'll keep moving until we both drop. OK? Come on.
Zander: As long as we never look back.
(Gia shakes her head no assuringly, and they leave)
Nice dialog, nice friendship, nice chemistry. That short scene was just nice all around. Even though there is like a 99.9% chance that there won't ever be a Zia relationship other than a platonic one, I really enjoy their friendship as it is. I'm just going to enjoy their friendship on my screen while I can.
